Hello all, time for another what's new with you link up! Thanks again if you join me, I always appreciate it. You don't have to display the button if you don't want to, but don't forget to mention it somewhere in your post and check out some of the other posts! I'll be doing a monthly recap like I do every month.

So October was a very quiet month.

KC randomly got a hankering to make some bread, so we did. First we made it after following a recipe from a youtube channel that makes things like in the 'olden days' and then we made one I found on pinterest because some things are better modern. Ha. I also figured I'd try and make some muffins, they turned out pretty well too. First time I've ever made muffins (baker, I am not).

My friend invited me to a craft night her friend was hosting, and we made these cute little nail art things and they are way harder than they look. Seriously.

My favourite Heather sent me some goodies that I didn't take photos of besides the crunchie that I demolished immediately. She also sent me these fancy night lights that her husband made on his 3D printing thingy. I need to take a photo of those to share because they are so lovely!

And then there was Halloween - well, Halloween eve. We got all our trick or treaters on Tuesday evening and ran out of candy. No photos, we didn't dress up either. I get kind of overwhelmed and feel a lot of pressure so I only hand a bit of candy out and then I make KC do the rest.

Other than that, I read a lot, nothing new there. I also started watching Riverdale one night when I didn't feel like reading, I think I made it 10 episodes and I'm not over it or anything, but when I felt like reading again I did. I just have a horrible attention span when it comes to TV shows because they take so much longer for me to watch than for me to read a book... You know?

My sweet Pacey died and even though I've been gone for 6 years, I still got regular updates and photos and she definitely remembered me both visits. She lasted a year longer than mum originally thought she would and she wasn't in pain, so that's what matters. I wish I had more photos of her, but when we got her I didn't have a digital camera, so I'm sure photos exist somewhere.. on film ha.

And now here we are in November - this year has definitely flown by. 2017 and 2018 have both been hard years emotionally for me (and lots of other people). I am feeling the same about 2018 as I was 2017 - I am ready for it to be over so 2019 can be better. I know that's a silly way to think, but a new year is a fresh clean slate and always makes me feel better. I honestly feel like I've been under a cloud since November 2016, anyone else? It's funny, my reading went up 50% in 2017 and another 50% in 2018 (so far). Not bragging or trying to be like, look at me I read so much, but reading is 100% my coping mechanism and it shows over the past 2 years.

So, what's new with you?
