March started off pretty fantastic - we found the house we wanted to buy. Lots of waiting and forms and inspections and appraisals and all that jazz followed, but the light at the end of the tunnel was there.
We were able to get out and enjoy the St Patrick's day parade as we like to do each year.
We were able to get out and enjoy the St Patrick's day parade as we like to do each year.
Got to see Beauty & the Beast with my girlfriends and of course dressed the part.
Went out that night with the same girlfriends and all our husbands, love when an spontaneous night turns out to be super fun, you know? We just sat around bullshitting and singing Gaston's song loudly. Good times.
And that's it for March! I'm sure there were other things sprinkled in between, probably lots of cats and books.
As I mentioned above, we found the house we wanted to buy at the beginning of March and we actually officially closed on Monday! We have been working our butts off doing all the things so we can move in this weekend. I've been off work for the last couple of days but I have to go back tomorrow - so that's when I'll be getting to your post if you link up with us. Can't wait to see what everyone has been up to, and to share photos of the house when everything is done!
If you'd like to link up with us, please do so below:

ReplyDeleteDoc curbed my running for at least 2 weeks, which is the worst since I was just getting into my groove.
It's been so fun watching you make quick work of all the changes to your house! I'm so impressed with what you and KC have been able to do on your own! (Hello!! Tearing down a wall!!!) It's also been fun to see all the gems the previous owner left behind?? What the heck? But that dresser of drawers was really cute and the jewelry container too...I think you should keep them!
ReplyDeleteWoohoo! So excited about your house stuff and ready for the full tour soon!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see more of this house of yours! Good luck getting all of the things done & good luck with your move this weekend!
ReplyDeleteYAY for the new house! It's been so fun following along as y'all make changed to your new space. I've never been that into home renovations, probably because I don't own my own home yet, but I still like watching other people tackle it. Can't wait to see the finished product!

AH - can't wait to see the new house! And all the things you'll do to it! We're talking about re-doing the bathroom this summer after the wedding & everything is over. But I'm pretty much only thinking one day at a time right now. And we only have one bathroom, so a little hard to re-do it...how do we pee?

Hooray for closing on your house and starting some of the reno projects! Y'all have been working so hard, but it's totally going to be worth it! We saw Beauty & The Beast last month too, and I loved it so much! I thought that they did a good job of making it like the cartoon version, but also making it a little bit different too.
ReplyDeleteWe discussed on snapchat...huge hoorays for house-closing!

ReplyDeleteWoohoo congrats again on the house! So exciting it came through. I hope all the renovations etc are coming along nicely! I haven't seen Beauty and the Beast yet, I was always in the wrong place when it was showing! I'd like to think it'll be on one of the flights I'm taking this month but I don't hold out too much hope...
