Again, you don't have to do any kind of monthly recap, you can post whatever you like as long as you link back to Gretch and I!
Honestly, this month really was a lot more low key, or at least I took less photos because I don't really have a timeline and don't really remember what order we did things - I didn't work on this post throughout the month like I normally do. So it's a mish mash, but here it goes.
St Paddys celebrations: Louisville (and I'm sure most cities) has a big parade the week before St Patrick's day. I actually missed the parade last year because of DC so I really wanted to make sure we saw it this year. KC's cousin is in the parade, and I took a lot of photos but somehow lost them all (seriously, extremely puzzled on the how, but whatever). KC and I also got back together on the parade day in 2012 so it holds special meaning to us. Just kidding, we just really wanted to wear our matching t-shirts. We met up with my brother in law and his friends and it was a great day/night. I was in bed by 9pm, I mean can it get any better?
We also had a shindig at work on the actual St Patrick's day, but I took zero photos, except of one of my bosses doing an Irish car bomb, and guess how much I'm not putting that on the internet.
We got a new TV: every time we go to Costco, we get pulled in by the TVs at the front, which is obviously why they are at the front, for people like us. KC has been talking about a new TV for quite some time so yep.. new TV. Pretty big and exciting for us. And the cats. They loved it.
Babysitting my friends kids: pretty much self explanatory. This was eventful for me because it's been a long time since someone left me alone with their kid/s! I was nervous, but it went well. I think.
Dinner & drinks: KC suddenly decided he felt like fish and chips.... on good friday. I was like seriously? It's going to be packed everywhere. I was right. We drove around a few places and then finally ended up at Old Chicago. I didn't actually want fish & chips until we saw that they had an all you can eat plate for like $12. Um, okay! Sold. It was actually really yummy, but I got zero pictures. Don't worry, I got plenty of pictures of the most delicious cocktail I've had in a long time. I had 4. I think.
Easter lunch: we went to my mother in laws for an easter lunch, we ate so much that I didn't eat dinner.
Lots of cats, exercising and some baileys: I mentioned a few weeks ago that I 'really don't drink alcohol that much' and I think I drank more alcohol in March than I have in a long time. I'm really not one to drink at home, but 2 bottles of baileys recently say otherwise.
Only 2 of the baileys nights documented, but they were clearly the ones with the best hair. And snapchat prettifying filters, obviously because yeah. Duh.
Cats are weird and they lay or sleep in the most odd places. Like the top of the couch.
Or the bottom of the couch.
KC loves getting down on the rug with the cats. We actually got that rug for free (what, you wouldn't choose a very blue rug for your house?) and the cats love it.
SEE? God my cats are cute.
Millie loves to be held like a baby. I accidentally trained her to like this when she was a kitten because I thought it was cute, but now she won't be held like a normal cat. Weirdo.
That's about it! March was really relaxing and I am looking forward to April being pretty much the same and things starting to get busier as the weather gets warmer (can we hurry up with the warmer weather though, please?!).
