So my goal for December was to not buy a single thing for myself. I still had to grab a couple bottles of wine and such for KC's family for Christmas, send some gifts to Australia, but I didn't need anything for myself.
Well. I 'failed'. But whatever. I bought a couple of things.

this running headband. I normally hate any kind of headband, plus I don't really run outside in the winter, but I've been running with my bestie and it's cold, my ears were not a fan. So. Headband. KC was with me when I bought this, he approved it, etc etc. That sounds weird, like I need his approval, but most of my shopping is done kind of sneaky like (he can see the accounts so it's not that sneaky) so if and when I ask for something and he approves it, it doesn't really count, because he never approves anything. That sounds bad. Moving on.
I also bought this bag. It doesn't really count though, because a) it was only $20. b) I hate the bag I bought last month. c) I got a refund from Target for the pants I never received, and a refund from F21 because those shirts were horrible.
I have no excuse for these striped flats from Express. They were on sale and free shipping, I've been looking for a pair of striped flats for over a year (I had a pair that I wore to death) but still. No excuse.
I also bought a new-to-me dress. For work. 'Scuse the bathroom selfie. Kind of similar options: one / two / three.
and then I bought this dress and cover up, for the cruise that I will not be going on if I don't stop bloody shopping.
I also bought two more bikini tops because hashtag sale. They are the same as the one I bought last month but different colours / prints.
Ahem. Then I went and got a dress from TJ Maxx also for the cruise, but I can wear it to Vegas too. It's also available here but I didn't pay that much, naturally.
Finally.. I bought a floppy hat. But if I paid less than $5 does it really count? Does it?
So. That is what a month of 'no shopping' looks like for me. Seriously, I have got to stop. Did I need any of these things? No. Were any of them very expensive? No. Is it really that big a deal? No. But it needs to stop. I also bought a few other things that aren't pictured, like a foam roller, a cat bed, some weird miscellaneous things that I have a slight obsession with... so I really just have to stop shopping.
My goal in 2015 was to pay off debt and I did not do it. It might seem okay to buy something here or there, but if it's stopping me from paying off debt it's just stupid and needs to stop. So. January. No shopping.
