Friday Letters

Taking a page out of Alyssa's book.

Dear king bed, I love you so much. I want to cry at how happy you make me. You solved all of our sleep issues, and now we are like normal married people sleeping in the same bed and not hating each other every morning. Also, the cats love you too but wish you were a little bouncier.

Dear Winter (the season), I see you and I dislike you. Please be nicer than last year.

Dear Winter (the book), you were well worth the wait and the only time I will ever say 'I love Winter' is because of you.

Dear Hunters, you were so worth the $80.

Dear Millie and Penny, please for the love of all that is good in this world stop fighting.

Dear bank accounts, could you go up instead of down? K thanks.

Dear scale, you're not a bank account, you need to go down.

Dear mean person on the internet who spoiled the ending to fallout 4 for KC, you're an assbutt.

Dear Disney, you were bloody fantastic.

Dear swimsuit I bought for my cruise, you are extremely intimidating motivating.

Dear Vegas-with-the-girls next year, you are going to be epic. Spring break oh 16!

Dear Christmas, I am not a grinch and I am looking forward to you. Our tree is finally up.

Dear world, TARGET SELLS CRACKERS. As in my bon bons, the things you pull. OMG thank you to all who told me that, you are amazing and just made my christmas A THOUSAND times better.

Dear 2015, you were fabulous, truly, but nothing beats that new year fresh start feeling. Hey 2016!

Dear all of you, happy holidays! I hope you enjoy celebrating whatever you celebrate, whether that is christmas, hanukkah or netflix.

  7. I barely even see winter yet, it's supposed to be like 60 degrees here on Christmas which is unheard of! We are used to highs in the 30s on Christmas and I'm upset!! lol

  10. Haha, this was so cute! I am so glad you were able to get your crackers! And remind me -is this the first time you will be visiting Vegas or have you been before? I can't even wait to see your pictures from that trip! None of this, "What happens in Vegas" business. You're obligated to share (most of!) it on the blog. :)

  14. My best friend's parents are English, we always did crackers at her house. She gets super freaking excited about them. I'm glad Target came through for you!

The bank account and scale need to get their shit together. FOR REAL. I am so fluffy and poor right now.

  25. If only the scale would go down, but that means stop eating all the things and that is not happening until after the holidays. ;) Glad you got your tree up, and you found your crackers!

  29. It's such a strange concept to me that video games can have spoilers, though I spend enough time on the Internet to understand they have elaborate plots and storylines.

VEGAS?! Did you mention this already and I missed or read it and forgot about it? I am jealous. I want to go to Vegas. I'm not even really a party girl but I want to go to Vegas. One day...

Agree with your letter to 2015. It's been a HUGE and really crazy year with so much good stuff, but I can't wait to start another one :)

  30. YAY that you found your cracker things and that your tree is up! Happy Holidays to you!

    ReplyDelete
  31. I was totally going to comment on your snap about the crackers, but I swear we always see them at Home Goods (if they're the same thing) and they always looked so cute but I honestly had no idea what they were for, haha. And ahhh a king bed sounds AMAZING!

    ReplyDelete
  32. So glad you found crackers! That was a family tradition of ours too but here not so much. I should seriously bring them back. Hope you bought some from Christmas day!

    ReplyDelete
  33. King beds are seriously the best! Our whole lives changed whenever we got one and we sleep horribly when we visit our parents and can't sleep on one. And hooray for so many fun trips next year! Vegas with the girls will be so much fun!

    ReplyDelete
  34. I saw the crackers when I was in Target the other day. We've had them for the last several years on Christmas Eve.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Bahahaaha, loved this! Especially "dear scale"!

    ReplyDelete
  36. Dear Winter (Season) I agree. Get awaayyy! At least it'll be 73 degrees in Dallas this week! :D

    ReplyDelete
  37. I'm so jealous of your king bed!!!! We have a queen but when it comes to beds, the bigger the better!!!
I haven't been to Vegas in years... I'm jealous of THAT, too!

    ReplyDelete
  38. Does this mean I don't get to send you crackers? Actually, I was wondering if stupid customs would think that popping noise was an explosive device and not allow it. I want a king size bed. Although, I suspect Astro would still sleep on top of me.

    ReplyDelete
  39. HA! Your scale/bank account letters made me laugh. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  40. We need a king size bed so so badly. Especially in the winter when the cats are frozen and take up human sized portions of the bed.. Ditto on the bank account and scale # thing... right? LOL XO - Alexandra

  41. i loved this--kind of like a recap of your life lately and your year! i want a king size bed!!

    ReplyDelete
  42. This is the cutest post! I told Ryan that we are upgrading from a queen to a king whenever we decide to change our furniture someday. Oh, and I so agree with you about the scale - it's my worst enemy right now.

    ReplyDelete
  43. We seriously need a king bed :( Especially since Bane sleeps with us! We essentially have 2.5 adults sleeping in our queen bed and that is way too many. I will be more selective about our next home and make sure it can fit a king bed haha!
