Book Club's back; January's book announcement

Or is it December's book? Who knows. The book we are going to read now and talk about in January is...


Yep. A book by Khloé Kardashian. Strong looks better naked sounds like an intriguing read. We'll see. I don't keep up with the Kardashians (lol) but from what I know about them, Khloé seems the most normal / down to earth, so I am interested to read it.

It honestly isn't something I would normally pick up, but we want to make sure we're reading a wide variety of books in book club, and I don't like to read the same things over and over myself, so this came at the perfect time - I'm in a bit of a book rut.

    I used to watch their show all the time, but it got really repetitive! I think Kourtney's my favorite though..she has the funniest one liners. I'll have to check my library to see if they have this book!

    I couldn't care less for KUWTK either, but I am interested in knowing how this book turns out! I may hop in to read along if I get some down time here, but if not, I'm looking forward to seeing what your thoughts are!

    Out of all of the Khardashian clan, Khloe is by far my favorite. I was actually intrigued by the book. May be a good one to pick up for the plane!

    I think that's a good pick and I'm interested to see what you think of it! People can say what they want about the Kardashians, but Khloe will forever be awesome. I honestly think she's one of the main reasons the show gained popularity. She's real (relatively speaking, given her fame) and funny.

    I definitely don't keep up with them either, but out of the whole clan she is the most likable/real. I usually don't buy any of the products they hock, but am intrigued by her book :)

    Yes! I saw she wrote this and added it to my to-read this morning!! KUWTK is one of my many guilty pleasures so I'm stoked that I'll be reading it earlier than planned. :)

    I may just have to join you guys on this one - I've been super intrigued by this book! I'll admit, I kind of do follow the Kardashians (the E! Channel is my weakness, so I'll basically watch any sort of trash show on it), and Khloe definitely is the semi-normal one. :)

    That's an interesting pick, but like you said, you have to branch out and read different books. I've been in a bit of a book rut myself, I have to get out of it and catch up on some reading!

    Promise not to judge, but I still keep up with the Kardashians... It's pretty much like waching a train wreck, you can't look away! But you're right, Khloe is the most normal, so hopefully that means that it'll be good! I'll definitely be joining in!

    I can't stand the Kardashians but I also can't help but to be intrigued by them... it's MADDENING! Khloe definitely seems the most normal to me. I'll be interested to hear what you have to report back about this one.

    I'm not a Kardashian fan at all but I'll admit I do watch the show sometimes because it's like a bad accident you can't stop staring at. I do think Khloe is the most normal one too though.
