Stuff I'm NOT too old for

In line with my stuff I'm too old for post, I thought I would share the stuff I am most definitely not too old for. Such as:

I am not too old for a night out. I feel like some people my age are over it, but sometimes I just want to get pretty with my girlfriends, have a few drinks and dance. It ain't no crime.

I am not too old to read YA books. In fact, I think I enjoy them more now than I did when I was a YA. Am I still a YA? Or am I now a OA (old adult)?

I am not too old to play the sims. For hours. Why are my eyes red?

I am not too old to jam to songs that were popular when I was a kid / teenager.

I totally still know the entire dance. Duh.

I am not too old to watch Disney movies. or TV shows.

I am not too old for ice cream. Is there such a thing?

I am not too old to be taken care of when I'm feeling sick.

I'm not too old to call my mum when I can't figure out how to cook something / sew something / do something / insert basically anything here.

I am not too old for christmas morning.

I am not too old for bubble wrap.

I am not too old for chocolate milk.

I am not too old to jump out and yell BOO and scare the crap out of KC.

I am not too old to go to Disney World & Universal and have THE BEST TIME EVER.

Bye Felicias! See you on the flip side. If you want to follow along, I shall be blowing up the gram and the snap (@kristenlees122).

As with the 'too old' stuff, of course, I don't think you are ever too old to do or not do something. But still. What are you not too old for?

    ReplyDelete
  27. Yes to this whole list!! One of my favorite things about being old, is that I'm in charge and can make sure that we always have a gallon of Chocolate Milk in the fridge and my favorite ice cream in the freezer!

  30. Totalllly just added you as a snapchat friend. I really hope you snapchat lots of pictures of your cats haha. I always feel so awkward when I'm reading YA books in public (even though I shouldn't). They're still my fav though. Can't wait to see all your pictures and hear all about your trip . I WILL get to Disney one day but for now I'll live vicariously through you. And I'll NEVER be too old for the Lizzie Mcguire movie! LOL

  31. Never too old for YA books! I don't think there is such a thing! ;-)

  32. Haha I'm not too old for any of this either! I've never been to Disney World, but now that we're within driving distance, it's definitely happening in the new year. Out of my way, kids!! Have fun :-)

  33. I used to play the SIMS for HOURSSSS lol I wish I still had it! I would spend all my time building and decorating the houses with the cheat money code ;)
And love the Spice Girls forever and ever - and I heard rumors they might tour with the Backstreet Boys soon...I will buy tickets SO FAST! xx

  35. Hahaha these are all great, and SO true (especially the Sims one)! I need to dig that game out again although I might get sucked back into the black hole of time! Have a great trip!!

    ReplyDelete
  36. I love this & hell yes to all of the above. Have a great time on your trip!

    ReplyDelete
  37. I am not/will never be too old to watch cartoons or read comics. Never. I'm also not too old to eat all the sweets evar. ...And I ain't too old to enjoy "poppy poppy paper" neither XD

Have fun at Disney!!! Say "What up?" to Donald for me.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Maybe someday I'll tell you my most epic sims story. It is the stuff of legend and still gets mentioned regularly in our house lol. So yeah, I have been known to waste way too much time on that game haha.

And yeah, disney, spice girls, YA, trashy tv, I'm all about that.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Awww ... I miss playing The Sims! I used to stay up all night playing it when I was younger, especially if I was on a break from school. (Which explains why I had to stop. I would literally get like 2 hours of sleep or less, and that's obviously not sustainable.)

As you know, I just started enjoying some YA books. I still don't love all of them (though, really, who loves every single book they've ever read?), but I've definitely found some that I love.

I'm not too old to stay in pajamas all day, daydream, watch teen shows (like Pretty Little Liars), and go to haunted events in October (though I didn't go to any this year, which made me a little sad). Those are the things that come to mind immediately, anyway. I don't always like to behave like an adult, though, so I probably do a lot of things that I'll just pretend I'm not too old for. :-)

    ReplyDelete
  40. Hell yes, I agree with each and every one of these! Especially YA novels and Disney movies - Ryan is convinced that our future child won't love Disney as much as me. :) I'm also not too old to play Rollercoaster Tycoon - now that paired with the Sims is my jam. Hope you're having an amazing time in Disney!

    ReplyDelete
  41. How could anyone possibly ever be too old for ice cream!? I hope you have a fantastic break :) Me personally; I'm not too old for reading by torchlight after bedtime, or feeling super jumpy and avoiding mirrors after watching or reading a scary story!

    ReplyDelete
  42. YA 4eva!!! (I'm never too old to say "4eva").
I'm never too old to dress up for a party like I did this past Saturday when I dressed as a butterfly.
I agree that I'm never too old for a night out dancing with girlfriends. They come a whole lot less frequently, but they still happen.
I'll never be too old for cupcakes.
Hope you're having a fantabulous Disney adventure!!

  43. Im not too old for a night out, I can still hang ... but then I need a day in because - old. Too old for ice cream? never/ Im not even an ice cream fan but I reserve to right to have some when needed!

  44. We will be getting dressed up and going out till we're 90 :)
    I heart you!!

  45. I hope you are having THE BEST trip! So glad I'm not the only one who still remembers the full Spice Girls routine :)

  46. Love this! By the way, when I was home last summer for some reason my mom had this massive sheet - like about 2meters of bubble wrap paper. She laid it on the ground and I ran across and seriously I was so happy - we laughed for nearly an hour as we kept popping bubbles!

    ReplyDelete
  47. I most definitely AM too old for a night out, haha! But, sign me up for some day drinking. A boozy brunch followed by a few cocktails and being ho me in time to bathe my kiddo and chug water so that I can get up at 6am with him is the way to party! That night stuff will just make me tired and hungover and mad at the world, lol. Hell yes to chocolate milk, that stuff is amazing. And Disney. Disney is amazing too. Actually the rest of your list is, I just can't hang at night anymore!

    ReplyDelete
  48. "never too old for ice cream" -- me neither! I'm never too old to get on the swings, go down a slide, or ride the teacups (but mostly because I have kids to go with me LOL). I love a good YA book as well!

    ReplyDelete
  49. I maintain that I will never be too old for YA books. Even if I'm 80. I love YA. And I sure hope there's no "too old for ice cream" because I just bought a pint of caramel apple pie gelato. And your Disney adventures are giving me serious envy. I need to go to Disney as an adult! I went when I was like 10 but another trip is looooong overdue. Keep having a great time for me!

    ReplyDelete
  50. I'm with you--I love YA now even more than I did in high school!

    ReplyDelete
  51. Haha I love this! You're list is awesome. Also have been having so much fun following your trip ;)

    ReplyDelete
  52. hahahaha I love this whole thing. AND I have been stalking your snap chat WISHING I could be at Disney, too. Seriously i can't wait to hear every last detail about every little thing so I can live vicariously through you :)

  55. I will never be too old for Disney! I am way too old for Six Flags though. I just can't handle the intense rides anymore. Haha! I never read YA books as a YA. I think I appreciate them more now because of nostalgia.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Love this! I read more YA now than I did as a teen, and you can never be too old for bubble wrap or ice cream or Christmas morning...

    ReplyDelete
  57. ha too old for ice cream??!!? That can't be a thing! never too old for books you love or fun amusement parks. And I literally listened to the Spice Girls last night while I cooked, hahah. I watched that exact video. And the scared gif makes me miss "Happy Endings" so much~

    ReplyDelete
  58. No such thing as too old for ice cream or Disney!

    ReplyDelete
  59. I am so glad that you had a blast and I enjoyed watching all of your different pictures on Instagram. I think I liked every single one of them? It is specially made me ridiculously happy to see your Harry Potter shirt. You're never too old to do anything that you want to, besides you're still young, especially compared to me! ;) I'm glad I'm not the only one who still spend hours playing Sims or enjoys bubble wrap.
