We all love Target, right? I know I mentioned that I am not as infatuated with it as other people seem to be, but that doesn't mean I don't shop there, it doesn't mean that I can't drop $100 in 10 minutes, it just means I'm a shopaholic and could do that anywhere.
I'm more in love with Target.com than actual an actual Target. Especially because free shipping thanks to my redcard. Their shipping used to suck, but its gotten better. Anyway, I digress. FYI, this post contains affiliate links.
I have bought plenty from Target that did not work out - I could probably write 10 posts filled with the crap that I returned or threw out. I don't have the best luck with Target clothes, so I rarely buy them anymore. However, partly thanks to reviews (and blogger friends, lets be real) and partly because I can't resist buying shit, I have discovered a few gems and wanted to share them with you. Because that's what we do here in blogland, we enable each other. You're welcome.
Black Darcy Wedges.
Megan. I thought they were cute, I tried them on and wanted them but I didn't want to pay $30 for Target shoes. Then I noticed the name and I gasped (loudly) and Megan thought I was having a heart attack or something. So naturally, I bought them. These shoes are so comfy - of course, they require the normal first wear to break them in but I LOVE them and highly recommend, not just because of the name. Also, I totally paid full price (well, 5% off) which is unheard of, but I mean, they were only $30.
One of my friends (in the blue) also bought them, but she's not a huge fan of heels and didn't love them as much as I did. I will definitely say that the first time I wore them was that night and my feet hurt but that was my fault for not breaking them in, because they are so comfortable now.
Also, the black dress on the right is also from Target and while I do love it (and it's currently on sale and available in more colours) I wouldn't say it was one of my top favourite purchases, because I don't wear / use it as much as the other things on this list.
Sam & Libby Chelsea Flats.
Striped boatneck tee.
Unfortunately, this one is the only one that is currently not available but I am sure Target will bring this back because they'd be crazy not to. In fact, when I bought it, people were saying 'huzzah thank you for bringing it back!' so they've done it before. Anyway, it's still available in xx small if you're that tiny. If not, my fingers are crossed they bring it back, and when they do, I'll be buying a replacement or five. It is so comfy and long (long!!) and the stripes match up and it's only $12 and it's the best striped boatneck you will ever buy for $12.
V Neck Linen Tee.
I normally dislike v neck tees immensely. They always sit weird on me. I ordered this one because of the good reviews, I think, and I am so glad I did. It sits lower than a normal v neck (on me, anyway) and I LOVE it. It's only $12 and I have it in grey and white. It is 'rougher' than a normal tee, but to me that just means it doesn't wrinkle easily and it is much more durable. I seriously love it. It's long, as well (huzzah!). I am contemplating getting more colours. I love the grey one the most, and yes I wore it the same way in the pictures but one is KY and other in Rome, lol. Let me tell you how amazing it was to pack that grey tee (or smoosh it) and it come out basically wrinkle free. I brought along a white tee (not the target one) and it was ridiculously wrinkled. As soon as I got back, I ordered the white one from Target. Wish I had bought it before Europe, but no matter. Highly recommend this tee.
This mug or this mug or this mug.
I LOVE these mugs. I want the plain white ones, but right now I only have the beaded ones. I did have the stripe one but I might have accidentally broke it (I'm clumsy, leave me alone). I love that they are so big. Really not much else to say except I love.these.mugs. You can also buy them on their own in store or online (stripe, plain, beaded). It's my second favourite mug to drink out of (first is Mike Wazowski) but it's definitely the prettiest, hence the reason it pops up on instagram a lot.
Look, I even got a picture of the striped one (the stripes are very subtle) before I broke it.
Anywho. Honorable mention to my pearce pumps, they are no longer available but they are the most comfortable heels I have ever owned and I'm kicking myself that I didn't buy them in more colours. Love. Them. As you can see, I wear them a lot. If they ever bring them back, I'm buying more. I've had them for 2+ years and they still look as fabulous as the day I bought them, plus they go with everything!
So there you go. I just wanted to share my favourite things I have purchased from Target. Unsurprisingly, most of them are clothes.
Linkin up with Kels for the return of her secret blogger club.
Perhaps I am more infatuated with Target than I thought! Can you name your favourite purchase from Target?
