We are not alone! I kinda love that he said what the french toast.

Other words that are apparently not words:
Bachelorette.
Texting.
That's all I can think of.
The other day my boss asked me what was on my toast, I told her peanut butter. She said oh ok, it looked different. Another girl who was in the kitchen at the same time piped up 'she put it on hot' and they were all like ohh ok that's weird. WTF? Is this a thing? Am I supposed to wait for my toast to cool down before I spread some gooey PB on it? Then my toast will be cold. It makes no sense. Please explain. That shit cray and weird.
Side note: I only like PB on bread or toast, or toasted bagels. I don't like peanut butter flavoured things, I don't like peanut butter and chocolate, I don't like it I don't I don't.
Is anyone else having issues with bloglovin lately? It's not marking my posts as read when I open them - I have to either hit mark as read, and then open it, or I have to mark the blog / group as read. Very annoying when you have like 100+ posts to read, I normally open like 2 or 3 at a time every half hour or so depending on what I am doing at work, but this is just making it super annoying and ragey and I want to throw my computer. Anyone else?
Sometimes I want to write irregardless because I think it's funny and I am trying to be funny (side note where the fudge is the red squiggly line for irregardless because IT IS NOT A WORD WTF) but I don't want you all to think I don't know it's a word. So I don't. But I want to. Irregardless of what I want to do, I don't. Ha! I did it - ps it was a joke and I know it's not a word.
As you know, I have been watching a lot of HGTV and it makes me sad that no-one will come to my neck of the woods and make me a pretty house. I promise I wouldn't argue with you, Drew & Jonathan. I will go with whatever house you think is the best, Chip and Joanna. Hilary and David, come on out - we would love our house and all the pretty things Hilary would do, but you can't change the location which is our main issue, but we won't tell them that will we? Pretty please won't you come to where I want to live and renovate a crappy house for me? I'll love you foooeevvaaah.
It's a really sad day (or a good day, however you want to look at it) when I have nothing in my 'online shopping' folder. See below just to see how sad.
That's all from me folks. The title of this post is a joke. Good day to you. I SAID GOOD DAY! Ok, I stole that from Steph because it makes me laugh every.damn.time. But really, have a good humpday y'all.
Hahaha the positivity thing has me laughing still! Too funny! I knew bachelorette wasn't a word but I didn't know about texting. And there is that stupid red line... I LOVE peanut butter on toast and I always put it on hot! I like it gooey and warm. And yes, Bloglovin sucks lately. So many issues. Happy Wednesday girl!

Haha, I am always getting confused with words since my work computer tends to switch spell check between Icelandic, American English and British English! And I love peanut butter on toast and always put it on warm. Toast with peanut butter and a sliced banana on top if one of my favorite pre run eats!
ReplyDeletei am the same way with peanut butter toast. i once at only that for brekkie for 3 years straight. whenever i travel to a foreign country, i bring my PB with me. and of course it has to be hot. there is no other way :)
ReplyDeleteHey, cheers to nothing in your online shopping cart! I set a lofty goal of no new clothes until May. I'm going nowhere, I'm doing nothing, I don't need new clothes. So that would be January 19th-May with no clothes shopping.
ReplyDeleteFor me, Bloglovin hasn't been updating right away. I have to refresh it to get the newest posts, even when I first go to the website.
Hahaha — you should have called this post "Irregardless, positivity, and other funny word weirdness" ;-)
ReplyDeleteHappy Wednesday Kristen!
Positivity ALWAYS gives me the red squiggle and it drives me crazy! I always look at it like 3 times thinking, "Did I throw an extra i in there or something?!" Words are weird.
ReplyDeleteYou have to put the peanut butter on when it's still warm so then it gets all melty and delicious!! And can I recommend putting it on an English muffin- soo good when it melts into all of the nooks and crannies! And I totally feel your pain with Bloglovin! I have such a love/hate relationship with it because I love it's functionality but hate that said functionality doesn't always work properly!
ReplyDeleteLOL i always use words or make up words because funny. and sometimes, bad grammar just drives a point home.
ReplyDeletei dont like bloglovin. i hate that they incorporate their banner every time i try and click on a blog to get away from bloglovin yet their damn banner is there every time. i use feedly instead!
I am sooo addicted to HGTV! I need to chill out a bit but I would love to go shopping with the property brothers, get a house, and have them make it all pretty looking!
ReplyDeleteI am having similar issues with posts not showing up at all on Blogger, and then like 3 in a row from the same blog. I had a teacher, yes a teacher, that used to say irregardless all the time. Happy Humpday!
ReplyDeleteI don't think its weird to put peanut butter on toast.. I make PB&J on toast all the time for breakfast! I don't have the patience to wait for it to cool down! I love the irregardless gif...If I ever say it, it has to be with that hand up and in my best Gretchen Weiners impression!
ReplyDeletei really like putting peanut butter on warm toast bc it makes it so much easier to spread!! BUT im sorry i have to disagree with you about the peanut butter and chocolate combo...that's one of my favorite things! more for me i suppose ;) and yes bloglovin is driving me bananas!! i hate that i have to check posts twice to make sure it notes that i have read them. get your stuff together bloglovin! xo jillian - cornflake dreams
ReplyDeleteAdd some honey on top of your WARM peanut butter toast and it will rock your world! You're welcome!
ReplyDeleteHAHAHAHAHA this post just made me happy! I love pb on toast, soooo yummy! And bagels when I'm on the road!
ReplyDeleteI can't understand why bachelorrette isn't a word. I just got the red squiggly. Why do bachelors get a word and we don't?!?!?! RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUDE!
You would get along well with my husband he haaates peanut butter and chocolate too! I think I usually put toppings on my toast hot- so much easier to spread! Looove Fixer Upper! Chip is sometimes a little much for me, but I have a girl crush on Joanna- I want her to design my house and I'd love her wardrobe too!
ReplyDeleteYou are a riot and I feel the same way about the word positivity (even right now there is a squiggly line) not being a word in blogger LOL!!! This girl said irregardless in a meeting the other day and it took all of my might not to tell her - NOT A WORD!! LOl xo, Biana - BlovedBoston
ReplyDeleteMy dad's not a fan of PB and chocolate, but I love it. Also PB on warm toast is the only way to eat toast. Well, and Nutella. Bloglovin' is also not showing my latest post sometimes until waaaaay later. I don't know what's going on but they need to fix it!
ReplyDeletePositivity is TOTALLY a word!
ReplyDeleteHAHAHA your posts kill me. that's hilarious. and oh man you need to get some stuff in that online shopping cart. asap!
ReplyDeleteI had that same issue the other day with Bloglovin too, but then it magically fixed itself so hopefully it will do the same for you soon!
ReplyDeleteTeacher Brianne is sitting here with her school copy of a 2006 dictionary. Here is what I have discovered: Positivity is NOT a word (false Merriam-Webster...false...).
ReplyDeleteIrregardless is NOT a word (STOP trying to make irregardless happen...it's NOT going to happen.
Bachelorette IS a word (n: a young unmarried woman)
Texting is NOT a word (so I'm not sure how I've been communicating since 2006 but apparently not by texting...)
I always put my PB on hot...it's easier to spread... & tastes better for some reason...
Why on earth wouldn't you put the PB on when the bread is still warm? What the damn hell? The best is on English muffins... Then the PB gets done into all the crannies, and... Mmmmmmmmmm :)
ReplyDeleteWhat the hell! You have to put peanut butter on when the toast is warm. One does not wait for toast to cool to apply toppings. You work with some fools!
ReplyDeleteI am not doing well with my treat yoself shopping birthday month. I'm behind.
I think irregardless is now in the dictionary. Stupid people have ruined things for the rest of us.
Ok, I am reading this in a Panera and I actually laughed out loud at the "what the french toast." And now people are looking at me funny. Whatever, it was funny!
ReplyDeleteI had no idea positivity wasn't a word! I totally add peanut butter to my toast when it's still warm. I did know that irregardless was not a word. The attorney's I work with are always telling me that. They are like the freaking grammer police.
ReplyDeleteits totally normal to put peanutbutter on warm toast! it makes it all gooey and delicious. I like to put peanut butter on my toaster-waffles mmmm so good. and yes bloglovin sucks these days and I'm thiiiiis close to moving to another platform to read my blogs
ReplyDeleteI'm a little sad for you that you must not like Reese cups :) More for me :)
ReplyDeleteYep... positivity has become the new white/gold/black/blue dress :)
I'm having the same issues with BlogLovin'... it happens every now & then. So frustrating to me. I try to just scan through the blogs that I KNOW I want to read, open them up, then go back & hit Mark as Read for the whole folder. I can't stand when I keep seeing the ones I read popping back up. Hope they get it fixed soon.
I am really weird about when I do and don't like peanut butter also. I'm with you on the bread and toast (also I put it on hot too), and I like Reese's but that is the only time I want to eat peanut butter and chocolate together. And just no to peanut butter flavored things. I don't even like how it smells sometimes. My high school boyfriend really liked peanut butter cookies so I made him some once, but I honestly wanted to throw up the whole time and afterward because the house smelled like peanut butter cookies. Blech.
ReplyDeleteYay the empty online shopping folder IS a good thing! I just impulse (kind of) ordered some running shoes yesterday. Send help.
Browsers are the worst spell-checkers, but oh my god, when I'm working on a client's manuscript? Microsoft Words doesn't speak English, I'm convinced. Also, peanut butter toast is heavenly but I love all things peanut butter, so maybe it's just me. The best though? I mean seriously the best? Peanut butter on a salt bagel. I AM TELLING YOU. Do it. Just try it.
ReplyDeleteWow, that squiggly line for positivity is so weird! I am hating bloglovin right now too. It's been terrible lately. Amazing you have nothing in your online shopping folder right now! :)
ReplyDeletePositivity is not a word it's a lifestyle! haha! Kidding, but not really. I love the phrase What the French Toast, too cute I might just have to use it now! I love peanut butter when it gets all melt-y on toast. Who doesn't? I would love for Joanna to come do a Fixer Upper for me, love her style.
ReplyDeleteUm PB on hot toast is delicious, what is wrong with those people?? What the french toast, I need to use that in everyday life. :)
ReplyDeleteI want Chip and Joanna to come do my house SO bad! Why don't I live in Texas?! And you know Bloglovin is giving me problems, too - I'm so sick of it. They need to get their act together!
ReplyDeleteI don't understand the comment about the peanut butter at all because peanut butter looks like peanut butter whether it's on hot toast or cold bread and now I am irrationally angry at your boss and co-worker.
ReplyDeleteBloglovin (which Google did not give me a squiggly line for) is a PITA for me, too, lately.
I am so glad I'm not the only one with an email tab for internet shopping. Ha!
ReplyDeleteBloglovin has been all sorts of messed up for me--off and on --forever. They mainly got their crap together, and then they loose it again.
I'm with you on HGTV. I'm not far from Chip and Joanna.... I'd totally be down for having them remake a home for us!
YES!!! Bloglovin is being a pain in the ass. I have to mark everything twice - on the computer and on my phone. I guess it's a good thing, because it's driving me away from reading as much as I normally do. :P
ReplyDeleteThe fact that positivity isn't one of our more popular/common words is a little sad, come to think. Bachelorette frustrated me a while back when I was talking about my sister's, especially since bachelor is fine. Sexism, spell check! That's what that is called.
Um they are the weirdos! PB on hot toast is the BEST!! It gets all melty then! (ps - melty is getting a red squiggly line under it haha)
ReplyDeleteI want to move to Waco just so Chip and Joanna can do a house for me!! ;) xx
This is my favorite blog post you've ever written.
ReplyDeleteMostly because my brain works this way, too.
And I've tried to woo Chip and Joanna just an hour north to Dallas for our home, and all they do is like and retweet my requests. Sigh.
Ha! That's funny about positivity. I just got a red, squiggly line, too! As for the people who don't put peanut butter on their toast when the toast is warm--you crazy! If you didn't want the pb to get all warm and gooey on the toast, then just put it on untoasted bread. That's the whole point! I also dislike it when people keep their pb in the fridge. My husband keeps trying to store it there, but then you can't spread it easily. I like it nice and malleable:)
ReplyDeleteBlogger is on crack when it comes to the red squiggly lines.
ReplyDeleteApparently I don't have spell check turned on on blogger because I never get squiggy lines (even when a word is obviously spelt completely wrong).
ReplyDeleteI'm going to start saying French Toast all.the.time instead of my favourite F word! haha
Hahaha this is awesome, Blogger is a little extreme in the spell check department.
ReplyDeleteOh how I've missed these crazy humorous posts!!!! Speaking of bloglovin...your posts haven't been showing in my feed. I saw you commented on another post and was all....heyyyy where has she been!? And no, it hasn't been marking any of the posts as read either. So annoying.
ReplyDeleteAnd who does NOT put their peanut butter on their toast while it is warm? That is SO delicious. It totally makes the pb and toast combo taste completely different!
And lolololol at the irreguardless! My husband and I joke back and forth about that stupid non-word that everyone thinks is an actual word.
OMG! I hate HATE hate when that happens!!!!
ReplyDeleteHahah love this. Positivity is definitely a word and now it's underlining it for me too :-/ Silly computer. Also, I guess I've never put peanut butter on toast but definitely just on bread...but I do put it on pancakes. So maybe that's weirder. You're not alone.
ReplyDeletelol....
ReplyDeletePeanut butter is ther grossest ever. People are so shocked when I say I don't like it. Maybe you should put some vegemite on your toast and wee what they say then ;) (Who eats cold toast?!?!)
What the french toast made me giggle. Yes sometimes spell check makes me think I'm crazy so glad I'm not the only one. I also have a shopping tab in my outlook and I'm actually trying to make it empty and stop spending. Maybe one or two things are in there but not to s.t.o.p.
ReplyDeleteYou were very artistic in this post, i loved it! :):)
ReplyDeletePositivity is DEFINITELY a word! Peanut butter is BEST when spread on a hot piece of toast!
ReplyDeleteHA! I loved this post. I still don't get positivity either.
ReplyDeleteAlso, Bloglovin is causing me to get very angry too...It's been acting up the past month or so for me....
Bachelorette always does that to me! Drives me crazy! And yes, Bloglovin has been having major problems! So question...do you heat your peanut butter up or your toast?
ReplyDeleteYes Bloglovin is jacked. And who doesn't put peanut butter on when it is warm? I mean....who does that?! Do people eat cold toast?!
ReplyDeleteBloglovin has irritated me so much this week that I've hardly read any blogs!!
ReplyDeleteI love peanut butter on warm toast and then I put syrup on it - good stuff!!!
Peanut butter on hot toast FTW. I once spent an entire week of during one of my college breaks eating that for breakfast. It didn't get old.
ReplyDeleteLOL so funny because when I responded to your other post earlier this morning, the work relatable had (has) a red squiggly line! I had to google it to make sure it is indeed spelled right... wtf! ;) very bizarre. And how is squiggly accepted but not relatable. Beats me!
ReplyDeleteMMMM my breakfasts this week have been a toasted English muffin with PB, so good!
*word, not work
DeleteMy dad only likes his toast with peanut butter if the toast is warm so the peanut butter is melty. i think it's weird just because i would eat it both ways, but yeah, it's better gooey. Also, Bloglovin' has been a hot mess for me this week. I couldn't even use the stupid thing yesterday (it would only load 10 posts and all of my groups were broken) so I finally moved everything to Feedly. So much better.
ReplyDeleteHaha I love this post!! I can so relate with the red squiggly lines WTF moments. I get those annoying red squiggles on heaps of words that I know for a fact are words. What's with you blogger? (That's where most of the red squiggles appear). Hope you have a lovely weekend! Xx Carly
ReplyDeletehaha my blogger squiggles everything. Heck "blogger" isnt even a word. Lets not even talk about iphone or ipad or i - anything!!
ReplyDeleteAlso I love peanut butter when its pasted on hot bread. It is different but its actually my preference. Your taste for peanut butter is like my taste for watermelon, mangoes and apples. I love them as the fruit but I really dont like them as a flavour so no watermelon candy, mango juice or apple juice etc ...
