However.
This Christmas is my 3rd away from my family, 3rd while it's cold outside, 3rd as 'woe is me'. So I get to act like a little spoiled brat, and do my wishlist now. Too bad I can't send it to Santa.
Anywho. Yes I know we are going to NYC for Christmas, huzzah! But still. A girl likes some presents.
This year, in September, I told KC I knew what I wanted for Christmas. After he was done rolling his eyes, he asked what I had in mind. I said 'something Pride & Prejudice related'. He did his fake shocked face, and then said 'yeah....?' like I had something in particular in mind. I didn't. All I want is something that I love from someone I love. I have tons of copies of P&P and other things, but I've picked them all out for myself. So I told him he could pick anything out, just as long as it's P&P (or Jane Austen) related.
It can be a variation I haven't read yet.

You know, just sayin. It could be any of those things, or none of them and I would be completely happy as long as he picked it out himself. And if he read my blog, there might be some ideas. Just sayin.
What do you want for Christmas?
I love that you have your list ready and it is something that you totally love! I had to laugh at the "an expensive pillow" after everything else had a link with a price! hahaha! I hope that he finds the most awesomest (that is totally a word) P&P thing out there that you don't even know about yet! :)
ReplyDeleteHe really can't go wrong if it's P&P related. The mug is too cute!
ReplyDeletehahah great list! :) i love those totes! xo jillian - cornflake dreams
ReplyDeleteAll of these are great ideas! I want all of those Barnes & Noble collectible editions.
ReplyDeleteI miss Donna ... she was my fav!
I am still trying to get my husband to take the hint and get me a new HP set for Christmas/birthday lol. He doesn't share my love for books and doesn't understand I want book-related things! Pride and Prejudice and Kitties is intriguing.
ReplyDeletehahaha ohhh you and P&P = so entertaining and I love it! I can only hope he comes through with something pretty fabulous! (Cannot believe Christmas countdown is on!) xoxo
ReplyDeletei have always wanted to go to NYC for christmas....it's on my to do list for 2015 :)
ReplyDeleteYou are too cute!!!!! I love all your ideas and I bet he does too! You just made his Christmas shopping super easy.
ReplyDeleteI like the Pride, Prejudice, and Kitties. I don't know why but reading that made me literally LOL. I almost died.
ReplyDeletePride, Prejudice, and Kitties...that is hysterical! I love it. I have this bad habit of buying myself my own present to give to my husband to give to me. I already have my Christmas present for this year from him...lol. It's not that he's bad at buying gifts either, I just always know exactly what I want so i figure why not save him the hassle, right?
ReplyDeleteChristmas in NYC is the best! We did that last year (and I really want to go again this year!) AND we still did presents. So you definitely need everything on this list in addition to your trip :)
ReplyDeleteYAY I can't wait for you to spend Christmas here :) :) :) We will absolutely have to stumble into a bookstore or two and find you something P&P/Jane-related from New York
ReplyDeletehaha i love it! i might need to put some of this stuff on my wish list...
ReplyDeleteI hope you get all things P&P for Christmas!
ReplyDeleteLove this list! I feel like I really need to read Pride and Prejudice and Kitties. It sounds like my kind of book. Those collectible versions are SO pretty!
ReplyDeleteWant. That. Mug. :) I definitely wrote a Christmas list a couple of weeks ago and sent it to my mom who sent it to whoever wants to buy me something. You have to write lists this early so people have time to decide what to get :) lists are helpful! I wish Joey would give me one now and then.... I think each year for Xmas my parents get him a gift card for Hockey Life (a hockey store... was that obvious? ;)) and I get him a skate sharpening card as part of his... 10 free sharpenings. SO exciting..... lol wow ramble! Cute cute list though!! XO
ReplyDeleteyou are too cute with this theme!! i hope he gets a few of these for you :)
ReplyDeleteI think the book set is a great gift for you or pretty much everything you laid out here today LOL!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, I love this. I'm a P&P nut (my husband doesn't understand the fascination), so I hope you get EVERYTHING on this list!
ReplyDeleteand/or maybe these little kids versions of P&P?? :D

I made John an amazon wish list. They have a button that goes in your toolbar so you can add anything from any site, not just amazon. Now he can 'surprise me' for any holiday haha. He loves it.
ReplyDeleteThose are all so cute! I absolutely need that mug. This post might end up in my husband's inbox...
ReplyDeleteYou're adorable, I love your passions!
ReplyDeleteI hope you get it all!!! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's all so lovely!!!
Every time I see jane Austen stuff, you are the first person I think of now.
Me? I'll always have Beauty & the Beast stuff on my life... always :)
That boxed set would be awesome!! Love the mug too. Fingers crossed hubby comes through :)
ReplyDeleteThat pillow is so so pretty! My list will probably consist of beauty junk haha.
ReplyDeleteOh that boxed set!! Swoon. -Alexandra
ReplyDeleteSimply Alexandra: My Favorite Things
I want that mug and pillow and I haven't even read the book!.
ReplyDeleteLOL! While it is an expensive pillow indeed, I think it's a perfect gift idea for you! How thoughtful of you to help your husband out and prepare this list for him. ;-)
ReplyDeleteNYC for Christmas sounds like a dream! I am the same way, I love to be surprised to I try and put hints up everywhere without every really saying anything :)
ReplyDeleteI love your love for P&P!! That mug is too cute! Also loving that pretty Jane Austin set but yes the pillow is probably the cutest thing ever!

I think that your husband has plenty of choices:) That pillow is pretty awesome even if it is pricey!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the mug and the tote bags! I made my Christmas list in my head months a while ago! haha
ReplyDeleteWhen are the dates you are going to be there???!?!?
ReplyDeleteHah man you are a woman on a mission with P&P. Love the coffee mug and NYC for Christmas will be gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteYour deep love for P&P seriously puts a grin on my face, everytime! This is a great idea for a post... Hubs and I were talking about Christmas gifts just last night and I always give him a few helpful hints ;)
ReplyDeleteI love how much you love P&P! And definitely love that fun pillow! So happy for you that you're going to NYC for Christmas!! Eek!

Love this very subtle post!!!!! ;) I hop the Mister nails it this holiday season!!!!!
ReplyDeleteSo lucky! I've always wanted to spend New Years in NYC! It's on my bucket list. Of course, I love all your P&P choices. ;) We should start a Jane Austen book club. (maybe I've been watching too many movies..hah)
ReplyDeleteWell I'm zero help because I think you NEED all of these things ;) though especially the calendar and that set of books!
ReplyDeleteI had no idea there was so much cool Jane Austen shit out there!!!!! Obviously someone has done her homework... ;)
ReplyDeleteWell, if he can't figure out something P&P then he is in trouble :) I had no idea there was so much available. P and I like to do trips for Birthday/Holidays...though he usually cheats and buys something too. He's very thoughtful, for my birthday this year we went to Maine and I got my camera (early but still it was "for" my birthday) but on my birthday he had pictures printed I had been meaning to have printed for a frame I bought which was SO sweet and thoughtful :) I personally would rather skip the whole gift giving thing and just not get any gifts and not have to buy any either ;)
ReplyDeleteI think you need the mug and a very pretty edition of one of the books.
ReplyDeleteThis is soooo cute! I love how much you love P&P. It reminds me of my pink obsession. Someone had a pink waterbottle today and started talking about the other flavors it comes in. I was like...are they pink? I don't care about anything other than I can have a pink drink!! Sorry, off topic. I love that pillow and at first was like that's not expensive but OMG for a pillow yes. I've never spent that much on a pillow.
ReplyDeleteNaNoWriMo takes me away from blogland and reading blogs for a week and you publish the mother load of P&P posts. Really Kristen? lol I've never read any P&P variation/derivative novels. Are they good? Also, I need that mug right meow.
ReplyDeleteI love this list!! And it makes my heart flutter how much you love to read the classics like I do! Im serious ... we're a dying breed!
ReplyDeleteI just saw Austenland with Kerry Russel, and it was super cute! It didn't get great reviews, but if you love Jane Austen...it will be right up your alley!
ReplyDeleteHe definitely has it easy! Love the box set of her complete collection.
ReplyDeleteHahah! You are P&J obsessed! Too funny! I hope you get ALL of it! :) I haven't even thought about what I want for Christmas... I should do that. Although I'm pretty sure everyone is going to buy for the baby instead. Lol
ReplyDeleteThe Jane Austen Rules: A Classic Guide To Modern Love is a book I've been wanting to find. As a married woman it would be of no practical use to you, obvi, but it seems like it'd be a fun read :)
ReplyDelete~Gianni~
OHEMGEE Pride and Prejudice and Kitties. Love it!
