Drumroll please.
So here goes:
Nada. Zilch. Zero. Nothing. You get the point.
I bought nothing this month. Whoopdeedoo, I know, but for me, WHOOPDEEFREAKINGDOO.
When I say I bought nothing I mean clothes, bags, shoes, accessories, etc. I am always wanting something, so I finally said no more and I tried to do a no spend month. I still bought house stuff & books, but books can't count, can they? Well they probably should when they are all Pride & Prejudice related. Ooops.
I daresay this should count for my 30 before 30 goal of going a whole month without shopping - what do you think? Cheating?
In October I am going to try and continue the no shopping including books so if you find a cute copy of Pride & Prejudice for the love of Zeus, don't tell me.

Good Job Woman!!! That is pretty freaking awesome!
ReplyDeleteAwesome job! I don't count books either! ;)
ReplyDeleteWow - impressive! Especially since I haven't been able to stick to my 2014 resolution of doing one no-spend week each month, haha.
ReplyDeleteYay for you! No spend is usually my motto, but I blew major cash on clothes this month. I'm cut off for October... Except it IS my 30th b-day month, so I might do some pity-party-shopping. No promises!
ReplyDeleteKeep up the good work girl!

ReplyDeleteYES it counts!! Great job!!!
ReplyDeleteNot spending money is so hard and this is a hell of an accomplishment.

ReplyDeleteAwesome job NOT buying anything. Honestly, that's quite a feat. Sometimes we just have to tell ourselves no. :] // itsCarmen.com ☼ ☯
ReplyDeleteAwesome job; that is impressive. Should definitely be a 30 before 30.
ReplyDeleteGahhh. I spent wayyyy too damn much. Hence my self-inflicted freeze this month. It's already killing me. haha

ReplyDeleteCan you feel my jealously right now? Zero $ spent? Teach me your ways! And books are necessities, books don't count. I've put my foot down.
ReplyDeleteGood job! That's awesome! Good luck with October!
ReplyDeleteYay yay yay! That is seriously the best feeling. But for me, I will go a month without spending and then justify buying a bunch of stuff the next month. Hopefully you are more successful in the consecutive months no shopping thing!
