Just wanted to do a quick update on the book challenge, mainly for myself so that I can keep track and accountable.
To Conquer Mr Darcy - 416 pages - Read May 31st.
Pride and Prejudice - Jane Austen. 272 pages.
Read May 1st.
15 points: Read a historical fiction book that does not take place in Europe.
20 points: Read a book that was/will be adapted to film in 2014.
The Light Between Oceans - M.L. Stedman. 352 pages.
The Fault in Our Stars - John Green. 318 pages.
Orphan Train - Christina Baker Kline. 308 pages. Currently #1 on the paperback trade fiction list.
Finished whilst in Australia. Didn't hate it, didn't love it.
The Snow Child - Eowyn Ivey. 416 pages.
Finished this on July 6th. I enjoyed it, but it wasn't an edge of my seat biting my fingers kind of book.
Read in August:
Matilda - Roald Dahl. 240 pages.
Who doesn't love Matilda? Such an easy read, finished in a couple of hours.

I read a lot more in July (Attachments, A Heart for Milton, Looking for Alaska) but they weren't for the challenge, I had to scramble towards the end of the month to catch up and now I only have 2 books left!

I started it, but couldn't get into it, so I just let it go and read something else instead. I hope you liked Along for the Ride!

I like this challenge :). I had to take a break from the fifth Song of Ice and Fire book after watching/reading a lot of Game of Thrones. So I switched to the Divergent series, which I never finished, and I'm feeling much better now. I can't wait to try something else after this. I haven't read any of these besides Pride and Prejudice, which is one of my favorites.
