Glitz & Glam + Day to Night

Gosh, the weekend could not come soon enough this week. Just me? Maybe it was the hint of nice weather that was ruined by grey clouds and non-stop thunderstorms that made me over this week a little faster than normal. Now, I love a good thunderstorm. I just really want the sun to stay around for more than a day. Please.

So the two Instagram challenges are still going well-ish. I most likely won't do them this weekend.

Today's was Glitz & Glam and Day to Night. I am the least glitzy or glam-y person ever so I was like... er... ok then. I struggled with the day to night as well. If I am going out, I normally bring whatever I want to change into, and the only thing I really worry about is hair or makeup. But I tried to make an effort, and think of an outfit that would be cute for day time and a night on the (casual and I'm not as young as I used to be) town. Plus, it had to be work appropriate and road trip comfortable as that's where I was going straight after work. How do you think I did?

Day

Top: Gap in Navy
Cardigan: H&M this colour no avail online but tons in store. (similar, similar, similar)

Night

Same top
Same jeans
Necklace: Forever 21

not loving the selfie by camera. also, this was before mascara.

and because, you know. it's me.

this week was 6 days, apparently. jk. the top right is a night time outfit, which never happens during the week.

  4. I think you did great! I love your new mustard cardi + that mustard bag! Also, love your peep toes and necklace with your night look. Your day look is cute, and your night look is subtlety sexy.
