If you don't know what Anzac Day is and you would like to know - please read this as it can explain it better than I can.
Anzac Day, to me, is a day off work. It's a parade at Dawn, and red poppies everywhere.
It's a day that we remember our Diggers, ensuring their sacrifice will never be forgotten. It's a day that they teach those who weren't there about respect and pride, and brings out the patriot in us all. It's a day when Aussies come together as a nation to reflect and acknowledge that although war should not be glorified those who fought for our freedom deserve our deepest gratitude.
It's a day that we eat more than our normal share of ANZAC biscuits.
They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun, and in the morning
We will remember them.
Lest we forget.
